MyTraffic Alerts Offer Motorists Personalized Information for Holiday Drives

WAYNE, Pa., Nov. 8 -- Traffic.com, a NAVTEQ company
(NYSE: NVT), and a leading provider of traffic solutions to consumers and businesses, provides online and on-the-go solutions to help Thanksgiving drivers get to their destinations faster. Knowing the best time to leave and the best route to take can save time and fuel for the massive number of travelers that will hit the road this holiday season.

U.S. interest in traffic information surges every year at this time. According to AAA's 2006 projections, approximately 31.7 million travelers (82.8 percent of all holiday travelers) were expected to travel by motor vehicle last Thanksgiving.  "At Traffic.com, we're preparing once again for the year's most popular road trip holidays," said Barry J. Glick, vice president, consumer markets for NAVTEQ. "Last year on the day before Thanksgiving, the Traffic.com site experienced a 399% increase in pageviews.(1)"

Traffic.com's free, personalized MyTraffic solutions are available for all U.S. metropolitan areas.  After logging on to http://www.traffic.com, visitors can either enter their zip code or select their starting point on a U.S. map.  Users will then be able to assess their city's current traffic conditions as highlighted by yellow or green routes.  Consumers can also view congestion information as categorized by the Jam Factor(R) scale, a ten-point rating system, as well as road incident details, local events and construction locations.

To experience all the Traffic.com personalization features, site visitors can click on the MyTraffic link or click on a 'hotspot link' (a roadway bottleneck) to see road summary information.  People can also sign up for free MyTraffic alerts that enable them to receive real-time traffic information for the most congested roadways anywhere and anytime.  MyTraffic alerts and traffic on-demand can be obtained in the following ways:

-- Desktop e-mail traffic alerts and scheduled reports

    -- Mobile e-mail traffic alerts

    -- Phone alerts

-- On-demand SMS text "city code" to TRAFC (87232)

    -- On-demand toll-free traffic hotline at 1-866-MY-TRAFC (1-866-698-7232)

    -- Web-enabled phone or PDA at http://mobi.traffic.com
