New Software Provides Robust Readiness and Response Capability with Process Driven Modules, Frameworks and Tools
Alexandria, Va. Nov. 7, 2007 Avineon, Inc., a successful provider of IT, engineering, geospatial and program management services, today announced the release of Avineonics, a state-of-the-art information system that enables organizations to automate the preparation, organization, management, execution and documentation of emergency preparedness and incident management functions. Avineonics optimizes industry knowledge and provides advanced technology for both daily and emergency response operations. The new system is based on Incident Command System (ICS) and National Incident Management System (NIMS) guidelines.
Avineonics, a patent pending system, uses intelligent business logic to orchestrate collaborative functions for training, roles management, resource management, planning, mobilization, operational periods, check-in, check-out, task assignments, performance ratings and more. The software produces a common operational picture to manage incidents effectively. Avineonics can be implemented as a stand-alone or an integrated system, complying with Service Oriented Architecture (SOA) to support data and event-level integration. The system is web-based, with an accessible and easy-to-use interface.
Avineonics delivers a highly automated and robust response capability, noted Akhlesh Kaushiva, Avineons vice president of commercial IT services. With Avineonics, we are excited to offer a system with excellent functionality that meets our customers incident management objectives.
Anil Jayavarapu, director of Avineons BPM practice group, stated, Avineonics is a dynamic system to implement and automate best practices for emergency management and to seek excellence through continuous improvement. This release is an important milestone in helping organizations standardize and integrate response-critical information, processes, technology and people. Avineonics provides a tremendous advantage by integrating preparedness and incident management through interactive modules, frameworks and tools.
Avineonics uses Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) published guidelines and supports incident roles management, as well as the features of the ICS. Avineonics assists organizations in delivering a more streamlined response that conforms to best practices.
