CAMBRIDGE, England--CSR plc (LSE:CSR): CSR (LSE:CSR) has announced that
Yingda, a China based company focused on the deployment of location and
tracking services, is deploying a nationwide network using CSRs
software based location technology.
Using a GSM/W-CDMA network, the Yingda solution using CSR technology has been rigorously trialled over the last 24 months and is now certified and approved to be deployed on Chinas operators mobile networks.
CSRs patented eGPS (enhanced GPS) software based location technology benefits from a very short TTFF (time to first fix), enhanced tracking and location accuracy that works deep indoors.
The Yingda location service system adopting CSR location technology, after rigorous monitoring and testing, has received Chinese relative government certification and is now providing services throughout China.
Dr. Stuart Strickland, GPS Business Unit, CSR commented, Working in close collaboration with the leading tracking and location company in China, Yingda, CSRs robust solution now forms an integral building block in this deployment.
Tang Ruoyu, CEO, Yingda added, CSRs software based location technology allows us to offer an exceptionally good value solution with low power requirements and highly accurate and consistent positioning, even deep indoors. The cooperation with CSR has been excellent and has resulted in a location and tracking service that we expect to be adopted on a wide-scale basis
