ProClip USA, Inc. to Provide Custom-Made, In-Vehicle Device Mounting
Solutions for TomTom, the Worlds Largest Portable Navigation Solutions
Provider - Integrate Your TomTom With Your Cars Interior!
MADISON, Wis.-- ProClip USA has entered into a global agreement with TomTom, Inc. to provide custom-made, in-vehicle device mounting solutions that integrate the TomTom PNDs with the cars interior. The mounting solution is consumer installable and will be promoted via the TomTom websites and in-box collateral. All orders will be processed through a co-branded website, www.tomtom-proclip.com.
The co-branded website will also provide mounting solutions for mobile phones and iPods. Most of todays PND users have a mobile phone and many an iPod as well. ProClip provides two to four mounts for each car make and model so the customer can have all their devices securely on their dashboard.
The ProClip mounting solution, designed and manufactured by Brodit AB in Sweden, is a two part solution (device specific holder plus car specific dashboard mount). The car mount is a clip-on bracket that is easily self-installed. It clips in between the panel sections of the dashboard, providing a very sturdy and tight fit. It blends well with the cars interior. Average installation time is 30 seconds to two minutes. No dismantling of the dashboard is required and there is no damage to the vehicles interior! Once the device holder is attached to the car mount, the solution keeps the TomTom PND securely attached to the vehicle dashboard within easy reach and viewing from the drivers seat.
Securely and conveniently mounting handheld devices like TomTom PNDs, without damaging a vehicles interior, is what we do best, says Bjorn Spilling, president of ProClip USA. We are extremely pleased to be working with TomTom to offer our mounting solutions to their customers. Thanks to the quality, flexibility and ease of use of our products, TomTom customers will soon have a premium alternative to the windshield suction cup mount.
