Enhanced geographical data provides cost-effective solution across mainframe and open systems platforms
CHICAGO, Sept. 24 - NAVTEQ, a leading global provider of digital map data for vehicle navigation and location-based solutions (LBS), has been selected by Innovative Systems, Inc. (ISI) as the primary map data provider for the i/Lytics GLOBAL(TM) address data quality and geocoding software solution. The combined offering will enrich and extend ISI's existing street-level "rooftop" geocoder, i/Lytics GLOBAL GEO, for improved marketing, customer service, tax jurisdiction assignment and compliance with regulations such as the Community Reinvestment and Home Mortgage Disclosure Acts.
i/Lytics GLOBAL, with NAVTEQ's detailed geographic data, dramatically improves address accuracy and street level matching to deliver a leading mailing and business analysis solution for organizations across a number of industries, including financial services, insurance, retail and government. The CASS-certified solution is available across all major mainframe and open systems platforms, including MVS, AIX, Windows and others. Its services oriented architecture (SOA) integrates easily with call center applications, customer web sites and data entry systems, and standardizes address information, postal codes and geocodes in both batch and real-time environments.
"ISI is proud to offer NAVTEQ's geographic data with our i/Lytics GLOBAL solution," said Martin Sohovich, ISI's director of data quality solutions. "This new GEO data set will provide enhanced rooftop geocoding with longitude and latitude designations, and will allow the system to code USPS postal streets as well as streets outside of the USPS database. These advances, together with i/Lytics GLOBAL's existing productivity advantages, provide the most cost-effective address data quality and postal validation solution available on the market today -- particularly so for companies running on the mainframe. We look forward to helping companies realize both improved processing results and cost savings over their current address data quality, postal coding and geocoding solutions," concluded Sohovich.
"We pride ourselves on the ways NAVTEQ customers, such as Innovative Systems, have successfully introduced new uses and deployments of location data in enterprise applications," commented Roy Kolstad, Vice President - Enterprise, NAVTEQ. "Together, NAVTEQ and Innovative Systems have worked to advance and accelerate the use of digital mapping in data integrity and standardization in the open systems and mainframe enterprise arena."
