New Features and Upgrades Bolster the Data Management Tool

WILMINGTON, Del.-- -Serveon announces the release of SABI Mobile Software version 2.0, the powerful backbone of the data collection tool that is designed to meet the information management needs of today’s growers. SABI Mobile is available in PDA or Ultra Mobile PC (UMPC) formats.

SABI Mobile is a leading-edge, GPS-enabled wireless scouting tool that allows growers, regulators and researchers the opportunity to rapidly collect, observe, measure and map any field data. SABI Mobile imports and stores all customer data into Serveon’s secure servers and offers near real-time reporting and strong mapping tools.

Version 2.0 of SABI Mobile’s software platform includes strong new features, including the following:

Individual shape files -- Users can now select individual shape files for display purposes. Shape file names – SABI Mobile users can now view shape file names. Stronger Web reporting – A new summary report gives an overview and offers data averages. Serveon already had in SABI Mobile one of the strongest data management tools available on the market today. SABI Mobile features Serveon’s own Web-based shape file export engine.

While SABI Mobile comes available on various PDA units, it also can be installed on an Ultra Mobile PC (UMPC) in what is called SABI Desktop. This offers the same data management program as SABI Mobile but with larger hardware for users who prefer a slightly larger screen and surface for inputting data. SABI Desktop has a seven-inch LCD display and the SABI Mobile comes in different hardware configurations about the size of a BlackBerry.

In addition to SABI Desktop and SABI Mobile, Serveon offers SABI™ Field Trial System (SABI FTS), an offline data collection system that can be tailored for use in contract research, field efficacy or plant variety trials. The system can be developed to fit the needs of a small grower or can be designed for the industry’s largest manufacturers, university researchers and regulators.

Serveon Inc. is a leading developer of application technology solutions and provider of information consulting services for the agricultural and pest control industries.

For a SABI Mobile demo or more information, call (800) 880-9746 or visit www.serveon.net.
