New mobile offering extends reach of Kronos webTA to tackle complexities of managing mobile, multi-sector workforce
CHELMSFORD, Mass. - Federal agencies are under increasing pressure to modernize their workforce management processes as they strive to manage multi-sector workforces for measurable results. The unique challenges of a multi-sector workforce, including civil servants, contractors, and hourly and salaried employees, are further complicated by the increasing number of federal employees who work where web access is not possible, practical, or efficient. With webTA Mobile, Kronos® Incorporated (Nasdaq: KRON) now makes it possible for thousands of federal government employees to remotely enter time, attendance, and leave using standard mobile devices.
More than 40 U.S. government agencies currently rely upon our webTA solution to efficiently manage their multi-sector workforces and comply with federal market programs and mandates, noted Jeff Babcock, senior director of the Kronos federal division. We have now extended the reach of our webTA solution to meet the needs of every employee within every organization.
As the U.S. government continues to reform business practices and institute new mandates for accountability, federal agencies must automate labor management practices to ensure accurate reporting and time accounting. This is no easy task within a multi-sector workforce in which thousands of federal employees rely upon mobile devices to communicate remotely. webTA Mobile leverages the latest technology to deliver the functionality and benefits of the Kronos workforce management solution right to the individual employee no matter where they are located.
