Search Engine Gives Users the Ability to Send Pictures to Mobile Devices for Free
Los Angeles - May 30, 2007 - Search engine provider Prodege (www.prodege.com) today announced that it has launched Yowgo.com , the first search engine allowing image search results to be sent directly to a mobile phone. Yowgo.com's Send-to-Phone functionality is powered by Mixxer (www.mixxer.com).
The new Yowgo.com image search and Send-to-Phone features were designed for ease of use and mobile functionality. Following any image search, a user can simply click a hyper-link titled "Send-to-Phone" beneath the image thumbnail. The user then inputs their phone number, generating a text message, which allows the user to view the image on their mobile phone.
"The social norm for mobile users today is to express their individuality with more sophisticated content and a host of unique applications that are accessible and easy to use," said John Dearborn, CEO at Mixxer. "Mixxer is committed to deliver solutions that meet consumer needs, and Yowgo.com is a great example where brands can provide content in a safe environment to end users globally."
