Global Wireless Community Heading 'Into the New' for QUALCOMM's BREW 2007 Conference, June 20 - 22 in San Diego
SAN DIEGO, Calif., May 21-- QUALCOMM Incorporated (NASDAQ:QCOM) , a leading developer and innovator of advanced wireless technologies and mobile data solutions, today announced its extensive agenda of speakers from more than 30 companies for the BREW 2007 Conference, June 20 - 22 at the Manchester Grand Hyatt in San Diego. Focused on this year's theme of 'Into the New,' BREW 2007 will explore the dynamic evolution of wireless and will highlight new technologies, new industry developments and new markets made possible with BREW. QUALCOMM CEO Dr. Paul E. Jacobs and QUALCOMM Internet Services and MediaFLO Technologies President Peggy Johnson will deliver keynote presentations during the conference on the future of wireless offerings and services. Additional keynote speakers from leading wireless and technology companies will be announced in the coming weeks.
This year's conference will feature more than 80 technical, business and advanced programming sessions and panels covering the latest trends in the wireless industry, including social networking and user-generated content, location-based services, custom user interface capabilities, direct-to-consumer offerings, mobile gaming and more.

The conference also features BREWfest, an exclusive celebration for conference attendees featuring award winning rock group the Goo Goo Dolls, who will take the stage aboard the USS Midway, anchored in the San Diego Bay.
This year's conference includes The BREW 2007 Developer Awards, recognizing the best BREW applications and services in the following categories: Best Up and Coming, Best Business or Productivity, Best Location-Based Service, Best Community (formerly Best Communications), Best Entertainment, Best Game and the People's Choice Award, selected by conference attendees who vote for their favorite application from the finalists across the six commercial award categories. This 2007 program features a new category, Best Public Service Application, given to the top BREW application created to empower underserved communities across the globe and strengthen economic and social development.
