America. Starting today, users can download and enjoy the GPS-enabled

and the new BlackBerry® 8800. A complete list of supported models is
included below.
InfoSpace provides a valuable search application that helps BlackBerry
users find nearby locations of interest," said Jeff McDowell, vice
president, global alliances, Research In Motion. "Location-based
applications, like InfoSpace Find It!, provide an added dimension that
can simplify and enhance the mobile experience.
InfoSpace Find It! is a premium application that distills millions of
listings into six easy categories tailored to the on-the-go user Dine
Out, Go Out, Shop, Travel, Health, and Services. It combines eyes-free
spoken directions and simple-to-use GPS functionality with the
convenience of local search to locate nearby businesses, people, and
events quickly and easily.
Now that I have InfoSpace Find It! on my BlackBerry, I cant live
without it! In my day-to-day travels as a real estate appraiser,
InfoSpace Find It! provides easy mobile access, giving me maps and
directions to the addresses Im looking for, said David K. Akina,
owner of Akina Appraisal Group, Los Gatos, Calif. I also use it to
find whats nearby the houses Im appraising, like restaurants,
copiers, coffee shops, etc. Its so easy to use and accurate because it
works with my GPS receiver, and it saves me the expense of calling 411
all the time.
Key features of InfoSpace Find It! for BlackBerry smartphones include:
Spoken Turn-by-Turn Directions: Eyes-free navigation with spoken
directions allows users to get where they are going without having to
look at the screen.
Expanded Content Library: Now find nearby events, Wi-Fi
hotspots, local entertainment, golf courses and more than 15 million
other points of interest.
Save to Address Book: One click on a listing saves it to your BlackBerry address book.
Refreshed Listings: Content is refreshed weekly. Movies and
events are up-to-date. Outdated listings are removed to keep the data
as relevant and useful as possible.
What's Nearby®: Access details on what's close with one click, even if the user doesn't know exactly where they are.
Find People by Name or Number: Search using only first and last
name, or by entering a phone number to find out to whom it belongs.
One-Stop Searching: A single search location for Yellow Pages, White Pages, Maps, Directions, Movie Listings and more.
Local Quick Clicks: Find local business listings and locations with maps and driving directions with minimal clicking.
Click to Connect: Make phone calls with one click instead of dialing the entire number.
