Olympia, WA March 15, 2007 Marshall and Associates, Inc. (Marshall) has released GeoResults Mobile version 2.1. GeoResults Mobile 2.1 introduces a new functional module to enhance field productivity: GoRespond!. Use GoRespond! to locate, modify, and resolve service requests in the field.
The addition of GoRespond! to GoMap!, GoCollect!, and GoWork! allows us to close the loop between customer, agency, and field staff. GeoResults Mobile now supports government operations from initial customer service request to a closed work order. Even better, it works directly with your corporate GIS database, and your back office business system, like Hansen. The bottleneck of digital or hardcopy data from the field is eliminated! - Elizabeth Marshall, President
With its ability to receive new assignments real-time, this latest release of our mobile productivity tool will allow field-based inspectors to reduce response time for service calls, resulting in a higher average number of incident responses per day and, therefore, increased customer satisfaction. Also, the fully integrated map provides a visual representation of the distribution of assigned calls and digital forms reduce paperwork, further increasing productivity. - Rich Harper, Software Development Manager
Marshall has also extended the functionality of the prior version of GeoResults Mobile with client-driven enhancements that include:
· Display feature attributes, hyperlink to external documents, or view information in related tables with the new Identify tool.
· Display the distance along a line, the perimeter of a polygon, or individual features with the new Measure tool.
· Locate an address or intersection on the map with the new Zoom to Address tool.
· Apply work order detail updates to multiple work orders simultaneously.
· Distribute costs over multiple work orders.
· Retrieve open service requests assigned in Hansen on the GoRespond! pane.
· Associate ad-hoc cost items with service requests in the field.
· Submit modified or resolved service requests to the server from the field.
· Distribute costs over multiple service requests.
· Create a new work order and automatically associate it to the selected service request. Assign the work order to any employee or crew.
