O'Reilly Emerging Telephony Conference Adds New Speakers and Sessions Schedule Now Online; Early Registration Extended through January 29, 2007
Sebastopol, CA, January 10, 2007The program schedule is nearly final for ETel, the OReilly Emerging Telephony Conference. A cross-section of noted industry experts will be leading more than 50 sessions and hands-on workshops designed to capture the trends of the evolving telecom industry and provide the means to navigate the communication opportunities ahead. ETel 2007 is scheduled for February 27 through March 1, 2007 in Burlingame, California.
Mark Spencer, president of Digium, Inc. and original creator of Asterisk had this to say about last year's event, "ETel gave me an opportunity to see some sprouts of true innovation coming out of the rich environment we built with Asterisk. It showed me that indeed, given the right framework, there are creative people who can truly innovate with new technologies and services. I have no hesitation in recommending that telecom technologists attend ETel to get exposed to new ideas and maybe even get some ideas for services of their own."
A mix of the inspired and the practical, ETel offers an exciting and unique opportunity for telecom veterans to collaborate with the new generation of developers and alpha geeks who are creating the next wave of IP telephony applications and tools.
