Symmetricom SyncServer S200 is Compatible with Avaya Communications Manager IP Telephony Software
SAN JOSE, Calif.-- Symmetricom, Inc. (NASDAQ: SYMM), a worldwide leader in precise time and frequency products and services, today announced that SyncServer® S200, the companys high-performance Global Positioning System (GPS) network time protocol (NTP) server, is compliant with key IP telephony solutions from Avaya (NYSE:AV), a leading global provider of business communications applications, systems and services. Avaya confirmed that the SyncServer S200 now is compliance-tested for compatibility with Avaya Communications Manager 3.1.2 IP telephony software.
The SyncServer S200 is a precise and versatile solution that synchronizes clocks on computers and servers for large or expanding networks and is optimized for demanding, high-bandwidth next generation environments, commented John Hirsekorn, vice president of sales and marketing for Symmetricom. Compatibility of the S200 with Avaya Communications Manager speeds time synchronization deployments and assures Symmetricom customers of compatibility with their Avaya solution.

As a member of the program, Symmetricom is eligible to submit products for compatibility testing by the Avaya Solution Interoperability and Test Lab in Lincroft, N.J. where a team of Avaya engineers develops a comprehensive test plan for each application to verify whether it is Avaya compliant.
