fonoinfo Launches Europe Chat, A Regional Initiative Based On Its Platform: Chitchat Web & SMS Chat (CCS)
December 13, 2006, fonoinfo, a leading software developer today announced the launch of an unprecedented initiative in the whole of the Europe region: Europe Chat. This initiative aims at creating an SMS and web chat community in Europe, and is based on fonoinfos innovative and comprehensive platform ChitChat SMS & Web Chat, which offers users anonymous SMS and web chat within a community.
The platform integrates six different components: an SMS and web messaging component, which integrates with the operators premium rate SMS components offering additional revenue on messages sent and received by the users in the community ; an instant messaging component which integrates with popular messenger services such as MSN Messenger, Yahoo! Messenger ; NaviGate location-based chat which allows a user to find the location of other chatters ; content (ringtones, logos, images, backgrounds, Java (J2ME), Symbian, etc.) purchase and gifting through fonoinfos ManGo Content Management and Delivery Platform ; the ability to browse the content catalogue on the handset through ManGo Catalogue Browser ; and the ability to chat from your handset via GPRS through 12MM J2ME Instant Messenger.
Ayad Sabbagh, fonoinfos Chief Executive Officer stated ChitChat is particularly interesting for three technology segments: Mobile Operators (as it increases the number of exchanged Premium Rate SMS), Content Providers (as users can purchase, send and receive various content), and Internet Service Providers (as it increases the time users stay connected to the internet). fonoinfo is currently establishing ChitChat partnerships with Mobile Operators, Content Providers and ISPs. fonoinfos popular revenue share model offers the flexibility for small, medium and large businesses to integrate with ChitChat and rapidly deploy and launch it.
The advantages for all three segments are undeniable: ChitChat builds a community of European users around theme- and region-specific chat: It can be branded for the companys name and logo, thus increasing user loyalty. It generates revenue on MO (Mobile Originated) and/or MT (Mobile Terminated) basis. ChitChat can easily be integrated in less than 48 hours.
