DALLAS, Sept. 20 -- NAB Radio Show -- Location, location, location. In today's mobile society, consumer brands are interested in using wireless devices as an advertising channel. Global Security Systems' (GSS) FM- based geo-targeting solution lets advertisers reach their audiences whenever and wherever they are.
"For advertisers, it's all about getting the right message, to the right people, at the right time," said Robert L. Adams, president, GSS. "Mobile devices, especially cell phones, are the right platform to make it happen."
As part of the company's GSSNet solution set, the new geo-targeting capability leverages the powerful and far-reaching FM signal. Advertisers can deliver targeted advertising based on the location of a consumer's mobile device.
By offering advertisers a way to reach potential customers via a radio stations FM infrastructure, local broadcasters across the country can offer a targeted marketing channel for advertiser. In addition, stations can now realize an additional revenue stream at the point of sale.
Said Adams, "It's this ability to deliver target ads to a mobile device that will make for a positive consumer experience, which translates into brand loyalty. It's a win-win for everyone."
Global Security Systems will showcase its GSSNet First Alert System at the annual NAB Radio Show in Dallas, September 20 - 22. Visit Global Security Systems at booth 709 in the Hilton Anatole Hotel. For more information or to schedule a meeting, please contact .
