August 1st, 2006 Montreal, Quebec -- Ship2Save and AAID Security Solutions have teamed up to provide the first step in an elaborate roll-out plan for a Canadian Crown Corporation.
The unidentified company has been using the system over the course of the last several months to help address a variety of logistical inefficiencies related to their cross-docking operations.
Konrad Konarski, Executive Business Analyst at Ship2Save adds: The Radio Frequency Identification (RFID) industry is a multi-disciplinary field, a market that requires an exceptionally demanding and diverse corporate infrastructure. Building solid relationships with cutting-edge companies allows Ship2Save to excel in its market space. Our relationship with AAID [Security Solutions] has allowed us to broaden our product offering and strengthen our market presence.
The Ship2Save deployment at the crown corporation allowed AAID and Ship2Save engineers to work hand-in-hand on all the necessary modifications and optimizations prior to its go-live date. The two companies synergies led to a successful install by Ship2Save of its RFID system and a successful pilot run by the unidentified firm.
AAID is proud to have Ship2Save as a Strategic Partner. Ship2Saves software and systems integration expertise adds tremendous strength to our long range RFID tag and reader capabilities said Pete Martin, Vice President of AAID. Partnerships such as this provide customers with a much greater depth of experience at the enterprise level, allowing them a higher degree of confidence for deployment of RFID technologies.
As the technology as a whole becomes more main-stream, so do the willingness of enterprises to open their doors to revolutionary new ways of optimizing their business. The two companies strongly believe that RFID technology is paving the way of how companies do business.
