Boca Raton, FL – May 22, 2006 – LOC-AID Technologies Inc., a leader in location-based services (LBS) and end-to-end location aggregation, has followed up its win at the 2006 NAVTEQ Global LBS Challenge™ with a presence on the “Demystifying LBS” panel at the BREW 2006 Conference, as well as a finalist for the BREW 2006 Developer Award for Best Location-Based Application.  The BREW 2006 Conference is being held May 31-June 2 at the Manchester Grand Hyatt in San Diego.

LOC-AID’s Treasure application, which was developed for QUALCOMM’s BREW solution, won in the NAVTEQ Challenge’s Entertainment and Leisure category.  Using their cell phones, LOC-AID Treasure players race against each other in an engaging treasure hunt, uncovering hidden clues and testing their wits through quiz show riddles and puzzles.  Players also can build their own games using the web-based portal.

“We are pleased at the recognition LOC-AID Treasure continues to receive based on its appeal for consumers and the creative use of location-based services,” said Isaias Sudit, CEO of LOC-AID Technologies.  “In addition to its mass market appeal as a game, LOC-AID Treasure leverages the BREW solution for mobile marketing.  We’ve built the game to allow text-based clues as well as pictures or sound, enabling the game to be customized with branded media.  It is an interactive treasure hunt that can help build brand awareness in a fun and interactive way and speaks directly to a target audience.”

“In developing LOC-AID Treasure, we turned to QUALCOMM’s BREW solution to provide us with a quick and complete productization of applications for the mobile community,” continued Mr. Sudit.  “QUALCOMM has brought commitment and vision to the mobile development community, and we are thrilled at the invitation to participate on the Demystifying LBS panel at the BREW 2006 Conference.”

“QUALCOMM would like to congratulate LOC-AID Technologies on its second consecutive win at the NAVTEQ Challenge,” said Mitch Oliver, vice president of product management for QUALCOMM Internet Services.  “It’s enjoyable to see innovative companies like LOC-AID using the BREW solution to bring new ideas to market quickly, and we are looking forward to their participation at the BREW 2006 Conference.”

The BREW solution drives the discovery and delivery of data services. BREW subscribers benefit from several offerings, which include: uiOne™ for rich, integrated and dynamic user experiences with fast access to high revenue services on wireless devices; deliveryOne™ for differentiated and tightly integrated, operator-managed support and delivery of advanced wireless data content and services; and marketOne™ for a quick-to-market, hosted, scalable content delivery service that includes media titles, flexible management and monetization, content provider settlement and business intelligence services. QUALCOMM offers this comprehensive set of BREW offerings to meet the needs of companies delivering mobile products and services around the world.
