The primary areas of focus for the Interactive Technology Group
encompass Web properties and new business development centered on new and
emerging technology platforms (mobile and wireless, IP-delivered video ).
Project Managers are
responsible for creating and maintaining systems to support consumer-facing
Web properties, new technology initiatives, and internal business applications.
The successful candidate will work closely with clients (users) to complete the
functional design and requirements.
Project Managers should have a strong
understanding of multi-layer development and the desire to work on a variety of
projects using the latest technologies. This position is for someone that wants
to work heavily with client groups, and focus on leading a team that develops
applications to meet business needs. Project Leaders will lead a team of
Software Engineers (internal and external) and Business Analysts, and will be
comfortable handling new challenges involving emerging technologies and leading
teams through the full SDLC.
Experience required:
• 3+ years leading complex enterprise development projects in the
web/interactive space.
•
Experience with broad, matrixed IT staff management, including management of
consultants and vendor projects.
• Experience with mobile applications and mobile application
development projects
•
Understanding of the mobile landscape including trends, platforms, vendors,
etc.
• Bachelor's Degree
or advanced degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering or a
related field preferred.
•
Strong communications and critical thinking skills.
• Strong understanding of all aspects of
corporate software development; strong client, server, database, and reporting
skills.
• Full
understanding of systems composed of multiple related applications, from both
software and business perspectives.
• Must be able to weigh business and technical requirements to
produce project plans and estimates.
• Strong time management and multitasking skills. Ability to handle
changes in business requirements and set priorities across multiple
projects.
• Business and
negotiation skills to work with clients and business analysts to determine what
features the project team will deliver, given constraints of staff, time, and
quality.
• Strong
understanding of the standard SDLC and RAD methodologies.•
• Experience in creating
documentation of technical systems, training users in complex topics, and
operational procedures.
•
Strong attention to detail.
