Job Description

Our client is designing a next generation mobile LBS application targeting the $100B mobile internet business and consumer market. They are creating a new mobile usage paradigm that will deliver mobile information to the mass market. Beyond music, videos, ringtones, wallpaper and games…beyond social networking, restaurant reviews and movie tickets…the promise of the mobile internet is to deliver critical real time, individualized, location based data to the user. They will deliver the data and the phone application will be the repository for that data, warehousing it for perusal both online and offline.  


JOB DESCRIPTION



  • Responsible for the design and implementation of smartphone LBS mobile application.

  • Integrate lite mobile database into application.

  • Implement synchronization strategy back to server.

  • Design the screen flow and generate UI specifications for each engineering iteration.  
Qualifications REQUIREMENTS
4+ years experience in a mobile application development role.
Experience in iPhone, Android or SavaJE.
Expertise in J2ME or antive mobile coding, i.e. Symbian, Moto, WinMo or other.
Adept UI architecture experience.
Web server development background, preferably using LAMP stack.
Adept in Javascript, HTML, CSS, PHP/Perl, and LAMP server architecture.
Compensation $85-150k
