In preparation for another LBS Challenge, Navteq hosted a cozy
pre-conference event billed as Navteq Connections. This was a special
event designed to inform about the latest in LBS and provide additional
information on the status of the LBS ecosystem, availability of
developer tools and programs, data products, advances in hardware, and the general state of the LBS space (note: I was only in attendance for half a day)
A quick technorati search today seemed to indicate to me that Google Maps Mobile
has received some kind of update - although I can't find any definite validation
of this.
As a follow up to our interesting
blog post about the high-flying Nokia N95 strapped to a kite, I have the
pleasure to share some information about a more sophisticated application that
builds on this teachnology.
