OpenCage Data Looks to Open Up OpenStreetMap Data to Users - While the service is in launch mode there's no setup fee and a generous pricing scheme is being offered to clients who can receive there data in a variety of ways including FTP, email etc... A note from Nokia reps this week informs me that the Nokia viNe application will be rolled out to Joe public very soon... possibly even this week. viNe is a web service that enables users of the application to share their journeys, along with media collected along the way, with others. As a long-time Sports Tracker user, N95 enthusiasts, and evangelist of all things mobile and geospatial, I was provided with a pre-release version of viNe - details and a complete "How To" install and use the application are provided... enjoy! I’m often asked, what do I find are the most useful or coolest, Free apps for my mobile? Well, it’s tough to say as I use so many, however, I realized this week that a great way to determine which apps are most needed is to simply switch devices… you soon realize that you have to rush off and quickly install some apps in a hurry!
